Journalism:
As a student journalist, I've covered crime, politics, and human interest stories, earning bylines in print and online at the New York Post. I also served as Assistant News Editor at The Daily Orange, Syracuse University's independent student newspaper.
Government & Strategic Communications:
During internships at the NYC Mayor's Press Office and the City of Syracuse, I supported day-to-day press operations and public communications. My work included drafting press releases and official statements, managing press inboxes, and responding to media inquiries from local and regional outlets. At the Mayor's Office, I also prepared the Mayor's daily public schedule and provided staff support during press briefings. This experience gave me a strong foundation in government communications, media relations, and the fast-paced demands of public affairs work.
